<p style="margin:0cm;line-height:normal;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">This hanging lavabo (Latin for &lsquo;I will wash&rsquo;) has a spout on two sides, which made it easy to pour the water. Lavabos were used in the home for washing hands before a meal. They also hung in churches and chapels for ritual hand washing during the mass. This metal example was expensive and either belonged to a wealthy individual or hung in a church.</span></p>
